More About Beth
I know what it’s like to sense something calling — and have no container for it yet.
I grew up the second oldest of six in a Catholic family in Connecticut. I was the responsible one, the peacekeeper, the one who went along to get along. That wasn’t a burden exactly — it was simply who I learned to be. And those qualities carried me a long way. Through a genuinely fulfilling career at Apple and Clorox. Through decades of building things, leading teams, and delivering results.
And then, somewhere around 50, something shifted.
A small voice began asking questions my ordinary life didn’t have room for. Questions about miracles. About mystics. About magic. About whether there were dimensions of reality I had been taught to look past — and whether it was too late to look directly at them.
It wasn’t a crisis. It was a calling.
In 2019, through a series of synchronicities I now recognize as the spirit world’s version of a tap on the shoulder, I discovered Contemporary Shamanism — and everything opened. For the first time I had a way to experience the Divine not as an idea, but as something living, present, and in direct communication. It gave language and structure to what I had been quietly sensing all along.
What I understand now is that my whole life was preparing me for this work. The years of reading rooms and keeping peace taught me how to hold space without inserting myself into it. The corporate world taught me how to show up, follow through, and make the invisible tangible. And my own experience of standing at that threshold — curious, uncertain, and deeply willing — is what allows me to sit with you in yours.
You don’t have to explain what you’re sensing. I already have a feel for it.

The way we deal with loss shapes our capacity to be present to life more than anything else. The way we protect ourselves from loss may be the way in which we distance ourselves from life.
