Why Seek Shamanic Healing?
IN-PERSON OR OVER ZOOM People are drawn to shamanic healing for many reasonsāoften when something feels āoffā in their life, their energy, or their sense of purpose. Sometimes thereās a challenge they just canāt seem to move through, no matter how hard they try. It might be physical illness, emotional pain, spiritual disconnection, or simply a deep sense thatĀ somethingās missing. This work addresses more than just symptoms ā it reaches the spiritual roots of well-being.Ā Through time-honored practices, you may find clarity, release old burdens, and reconnect with your vitality, purpose, and inner guidance. This is a practical approach using an ancient form of healing. Together, we work to restore balance, recover personal power, and bring clarity where there has been confusion. Here are a few examples of why clients reach out: -Feeling as though a difficult relationship has caused them to lose part of themselves. -Sensing they have taken on energy that doesnāt belong to them. -Feeling stuck or uncertain about which direction to take during a life change. -Experiencing a loved oneās death and sensing their presence in ways that affect daily life. -Trauma exposed professionals noticing they āarenāt the sameā after a particular incident. -Wanting to understand and integrate a series of spiritual experiences. Living in a home or on land that feels unwelcoming ā Shamanic healing meets you where you areāoffering a way to reconnect with your wholeness, reclaim your vitality, and find your way forward.
What happens in a Shamanic Healing session?
I’ll ask you to share what brings you to the session. At some point I'll ask your permission to undertake a diagnostic journey on your behalf to check in with the helping spirits. I will share the guidance received regarding potential healing work and recommended next steps. With your consent, we will begin to undertake the work. Sessions are offered in person in North Hero, Vermont in the summer or St. George, UT the remainder of the year. Or via Zoom, with online appointments being equally effective as in-person sessions.
What We Offer
Before we begin, I journey to ask your helping spirits what healing is most needed. You don’t need to come in knowing what’s wrong or what to ask for. The spirits know. My role is to listen, and then to follow their guidance with care and precision.
What follows is a description of the healing modalities I work with. Any one session might draw on one of these, or several. The work is always led by what your soul needs in that moment.
When we experience something overwhelming — a loss, a trauma, a moment of profound fear or shame — a part of us can step away to protect itself. This is a natural and intelligent response. But those parts don’t always know when it’s safe to return.
Soul retrieval is the process of journeying to find those missing pieces and welcoming them home. Clients often describe a feeling of coming back to themselves — of something essential that had been quietly absent suddenly present again. This is some of the most profound work I do, and its effects can be far-reaching and lasting.
We are permeable beings. Sometimes energies, influences, or even lost souls attach themselves to us — not out of malice, but out of confusion or longing. These attachments can affect our mood, our energy, our behavior in ways that feel foreign or hard to explain.
Compassionate depossession is the gentle, respectful process of helping those energies find where they truly belong — and restoring your energetic sovereignty in the process. This work is done with care for all involved, including whatever is being released.
Not all curses are dramatic or intentional. Many are inherited — patterns, vows, agreements, and beliefs passed down through family lines or carried across lifetimes that continue to quietly shape the present. You may feel their influence as a persistent limitation, a ceiling you keep hitting, a story that repeats no matter how much inner work you do.
Curse unraveling is the process of identifying and dissolving these agreements at their root — so you can step forward without carrying what was never truly yours to carry.
Sometimes what’s most needed isn’t healing, but clarity. Divination is the practice of bringing a question — about a relationship, a decision, a direction, a pattern — to the spirit world and receiving guidance that goes beyond what the thinking mind can access alone.
This is not fortune-telling. It is a conversation with intelligences that see more of the picture than we do from inside our own lives. The guidance that comes through is always specific, always compassionate, and often surprising in its precision.
You are not navigating this life alone — whether or not you know it yet.
ā
In shamanic practice, helping spirits, power animals, and ancestral guides are understood to be real presences who love you unconditionally and are genuinely willing to support you.
Many people have become disconnected from these relationships over time — through cultural conditioning, through loss, through simply never having been shown the door.
ā
Part of our work together may involve helping you meet, or deepen your relationship with, these allies. What often follows is a sense of companionship and support that is difficult to put into words — and that changes how it feels to move through daily life.
